Stake Mines: the grid, mine count and cash-out decision

Mines is a Stake Originals game played on a grid of 25 tiles. Its central decision is whether to reveal another tile or collect the current payout. The mine count determines how many safe tiles remain available.

Set the board before the round

Choose the stake and the number of mines before opening tiles. The documented range is 1 to 24 mines on a 5 × 5 board. With more mines there are fewer safe selections, so a similar multiplier can be reached with a different chance of continuing. Compare both settings together rather than judging a board by its multiplier alone.

A safe tile is a decision point

Revealing a gem increases the current multiplier. At that moment, the round can continue or end through Cash Out. A mine ends the round without that cash-out. The important distinction is between a payout displayed as available during the round and a payout actually collected by ending it.

Read the game information

The checked Stake listing displays 99.00% RTP. This is a theoretical return across many rounds. It does not describe the next tile or guarantee a particular session result. Manual and automatic modes should be compared by their selected actions, round count and stop settings.

Questions about Stake

Does the mine count change after each safe tile?

The mine count is selected before the round. Opening a safe tile changes the remaining board and current multiplier; it does not mean a new mine-count setting has been chosen.

Is the displayed multiplier already collected?

Not necessarily. During an active round it describes the available payout condition. Cash Out ends the round and collects the applicable payout.
