Stake.us Poker: Gold Coin and Stake Cash Play

Poker on Stake.us sits within the US social and sweepstakes platform. The most important lobby choice is the currency used for the game, because Gold Coin play and promotional Stake Cash play have different outcomes.

Choose the right balance

Gold Coins are for Standard Play and cannot be redeemed for prizes. Stake Cash is a promotional token used for sweepstakes games, subject to eligibility and redemption conditions. Do not read a Gold Coin stack or buy-in as a dollar cash balance.

Check the lobby before joining

Read the table or tournament details for its currency, entry amount, game format, blind structure and start time. A cash-game-style table and a scheduled tournament create different commitments. Live lobby information is more useful than assuming that every advertised format runs continuously.

Separate rules from promotions

Poker rules, prize arrangements and promotional offers should be checked in their own current terms. A promotion shown on a banner does not replace the table rules. Keep account verification complete before requesting a prize redemption and use the US help centre for an account problem.

Questions and answers
